A variety of healthcare and biotech innovations and services are also available through CET.  Our staff bridges a wide range of disciplines to achieve the most effective solutions for chemical and biological risks to human health and the environment.  We conduct detailed environmental health assessments and offer innovative, cost-effective solutions.  We've characterized risks and provided corrective steps or technologies in diverse settings that range from "battlefield to luxury cruise ship".  CET also has laboratory services available including analytical, efficacy, PCR, microscopy, and flow cytometry.

The areas of available CET technical expertise include physiology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, formulation chemistry, biological and chemical forensics, photochemistry, public health preparedness, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) agents, environmental health, infection control, robotics, optics, and directed energy/microwaves.    

Research interests include environmental health, transmission factors of disease outbreaks, pandemic preparedness, hospital-acquired infection mitigation, non-invasive diagnostics and sensors (medical), modeling and simulation of biological and chemical events, advanced sensors for biological and chemical agents, laboratory test fidelity and quality assurance, and decontamination science for sensitive equipment, platform interiors, and food handling.
