SENSOR SYSTEMS:
CET specializes in the rapid development of state of the art
sensor systems into real-world payloads for government and
commercial sectors. Our innovation and experience produce
creative and cost effective solutions for our customers. CET
has developed extensive experience in: |
- Electro-Optical (E/O)
- Hyperspectral and Broadband Imaging Systems from UV thru
LWIR
- RF Imaging Systems (active and passive)
- Holographic and Remote Sensing Systems
|

As a necessary part of providing turnkey
solutions, CET has developed highly modular, highly optimized
multi-threaded multi-CPU based software codes for real-time
data acquisition and image processing. This includes
patented and patent pending algorithms for:
- Hyperspectral image processing
- Statistical, iterative and numerical deconvolution
image processing routines
|
In addition to its own codes, CET has industry
standard tools for complete mechanical, electrical, and optical
design. These include: |
- 3-D computer-aided design (CAD) e.g. Pro/Engineer
- Finite element analysis (FEA) e.g. NASTRAN
- Computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
- Dynamic and EM simulation (ADAMS, PIC)
- Optical systems design e.g. ZEMAX
- Electrical systems simulation and design e.g. Multisim,
TopSpice, Altium
- Hyperspectral data processing e.g. ENVI
- MAVIISS: Imaging system simulation
- OPNET: Network modeling and simulation
- In-house prototype machine shop and circuit board fabrication

Current activity at CET includes programs
in hyperspectral enhanced digital night vision (EDEN), hyperspectral
augmented airborne synthetic aperture radar (HYPERSAR), and
hyperspectral human detection for perimeter security and critical
infrastructure (CTISR). |
| Research interests include sensor fusion, IED detection and
defeat, thru-wall imaging, advanced tracking and target ID
algorithms and novel EM (MMW, Hyperspectral, IR and EO) sensors
for unmanned and manned systems and advanced imaging applications. |
